The men-(and-women)-in-the-streets often associate God of Wealth 財神 with striking rich through sudden windfalls 橫財. Nowadays, many common people are finding it hard to get a close-to-decent job to cover family expenses through honest earnings 正財. The fantasy of making rich through lottery often become the earnest wishes for many rich-people-want-to-be.
For every gaming round, I will try to set aside a token S$2/ S$1 contribution (just past-times 小小小小賭) to join in the million dollar dream. Apart from the small (4X) dream, I am now back at doing more meaningful work (including DIY Feng Shui 風水) on Greening Home again.
